This is the privacy statement of EMAKERS. We have the right to adjust this privacy statement, any time. This is the most recent version and was edited on September 18, 2017.
When you contact EMAKERS, you provide us with personal data. Personal data is information such as your name, address, date of birth, telephone number and e-mail address.
At EMAKERS, we want you to trust us that we process your personal data confidentially. In the privacy statement here below we explain you how we do this.
Processing your personal dataFrom the moment your data is inserted to our database – until it comes out – we process your data with great care. We process your data for multiple purposes: from sending you a simple e-mail, up to offering you a better service. We also register personal data to comply with legal obligations.
We might share some of your data to our suppliers, offering you an even better service. Some of our suppliers are located outside of the EU. This means that we may also transfer personal data to countries outside of Europe. In doing so it goes without saying that we comply with all relevant (data protection) laws and regulations.
In the event of legal investigations, we may provide your personal data to the police and justice system too.
Besides sharing your data intentionally for specific purposes, we have several security measures in place to protect your data against malicious use. Also, data protection has been – and continuous to be – an important selection criteria when we engage with suppliers.
All our employees have signed a non-disclosure agreement. That means that they treat the information entrusted to us by you with the utmost care. Only authorised employees may process your personal data.
Reviewing your personal dataYou can always ask us which personal data we have on file and what data we have shared with our suppliers.
If you do wish to review your personal data, you can do so by exercising your right to access. You can send your request, along with a photocopy of a valid ID, to firstname.lastname@example.org. If your personal data is incorrect you can ask us to rectify the information. You can do so, again, by sending us a request, along with a photocopy of a valid ID, to email@example.com.
Final noticeEMAKERS must comply with international laws and regulations that require us to process personal data. Most notably, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its associated national laws.
If you provide us with personal data of your employees, you have a legal obligation to inform your employees of this. You can point them to this privacy statement to inform them.
Some of the data we process might be your customer’s data. For instance data gathered through your internet presence or used for e-mail marketing. We treat your customer’s data with the exact same care as we treat yours. We are available to document the way we treat their data to your like.
